Outwitters has been entirely rebuilt for its 2.0 version due for iOS and Android in March
Stronger, smoother, faster, better
One Man Left underestimated the work load it would take to get its Bronze Award-winning turn-based strategy game Outwitters to Android.
Originally, the studio confidently said it would be available on Android in January. The month came and went with no sign of its arrival.
"After a few delays (this game was a lot bigger than we remembered), Outwitters 2.0 is finally ready for a March release," the studio told us today.
To the studio's credit, these "few delays" seem to be highly necessary. It turns out that to port the game to Android it needed to be entirely rebuilt - hence the 2.0 label.
The result of this work is that Outwitters will have faster performance, better load times, and improved animations. It will also have cross-platform play between iOS and Android.
Was it worth the wait, then? It seems like it. But we'll have a better idea when we get our hands on it next month.
If you haven't already, you can download Outwitters for free on the App Store.
