Ambitious text adventure The Outcast has been completely revamped, with fresh art and a more involved story.
Developer Simple Machine (Lex, Circadia) says the game uses a narrative engine that offers unique and unpredictable story beats, inside a set tale about travelling across a post-apocalyptic America.
It has a strange pace, though. You'll only get to experience a small part of the story before you're kicked out of the app. You'll get a notification when you're allowed to log back in and keep on reading.
It's all very intriguing, so we're definitely going to investigate further with a full review. But if you're a daring sort, you can jump in now and get The Outcast on iOS for £1.49 / $1.99.
