Butterscotch Shenanigans tells us that it's bringing barmy cave dodger Flop Rocket to iOS on February 23rd.

It's already available on Android. So if you're rocking one of those green robot machines you can download it on Google Play right now.

If you're familiar with Butterscotch's Quadropus Rampage, or its other titles, then you'll know what to expect from Flop Rocket.

It's a high-energy, twitchy arcade game with a silly sense of humour and characterful cartoon art work.

Your goal is to fly a rocket through five kilometers of cave. Why? Your space program is under funded and full of terrible ideas.

In your way are plenty of large stalactites and stalagmites. But not only that, there are also "dragon-like Spaceducks, enormous rock-worms, and other space-time anomalies" to dodge.

It's a game designed to be replayed so the more missions you complete the more gear you'll unlock, making it easier to dodge for longer. The Juice, for example, gives you a boost through the cave.

Also of note is that Flop Rocket uses the BscotchID system. It lets you pay once and play forever across Butterscotch's games.

So it's a games library, cloud service, and friend network in one. And it has cross-game integration so you can unlock content in other Butterscotch games for doing well in one of them.
