We Are Vigilante has let us know that its story-driven arcade game Imps In Tokyo will be out exclusively on iOS on February 17th.

It has you guiding an imp through the night sky of Tokyo in order to collect dreams and battle dream thieves. You'll also have to dodge spiky obstacles and fiery hazards as you do.

"As the story unfolds you will be introduced to new micro-mechanics and gameplay variations like pickup and deliver, runner or point-and-shoot," We Are Vigilante tells us.

"It all climaxes with a 5-stage boss fight... because what is an arcade game without a boss fight?!"

There's also an Endless Mode to unlock after the Story Mode is finished. And a Challenge Mode will be available in one of the game's updates.

If you're wondering, the story goes that Mr. Cornelious forced the imps out of their home in Impolis. And so the imps band together to stop him from doing the same to humans upon Earth.

This story is told in comic book-style cutscenes.

There are five playable imps to choose from. Each have a unique ability, such as dishing out extra damage or slowing down time. One of them also farts, apparently.

Imps In Tokyo will initially be available for £1.49 / $1.99. But, as updates add more content the price will increase. The updates will be free to those who already bought the game, of course.
