The ultra-gory dark comedy Surgeon Simulator has taken a leaf out of its own book today and operated on its own price tag.
The procedure has seen it drop to £1.49 / $1.99 from its original price of £3.99 / $5.99.
Featuring alien autopsies, eye transplants and some of the most excruciating dentistry I've ever witnessed, it's not a game to show to your grandmother.
In our review, we found it played "bluntly, carelessly effective and really quite amusing" though it "never quite leaves this novelty status behind".
With the price reduction more than halving the original cost, it becomes much less of a gamble.
