A demo for Intelligent Systems's upcoming strategy weirdo Code Name S.T.E.A.M. is now available on the 3DS eShop in Europe and the US.

The game comes from the studio behind Fire Emblem and Advance Wars, and has Abe Lincoln (and his band of iconic characters from American literature) fighting a band of aliens.

See, I said it was weird.

The demo offers up some early stages of the campaign, but doesn't feature multiplayer. It needs a hefty 1871 blocks of space on your SD card and has a limit of 30 plays before, I dunno, your 3DS explodes.

The game's out on March 13th in the US, but we'll have to wait until May in Europe. Code Name S.T.E.A.M. will be compatible with the Marth, Ike, Lucina, and Robin Amiibos, so get your butt down to Toys 'R Us before then.
