Out now: Raids of Glory is a pirate-themed Clash of Clans-like published by Chillingo
Yaaargh better believe it
Tell me when this starts to sound familiar: you build a stronghold, recruit a gang of buccaneers, and get into battles with your friends.
Yes, Raids of Glory is the latest in the Clash of Clans-like bandwagon. This time, it's the work of Nitro Games, and published by Chillingo.
What's different about this one, then? Well, Raids of Glory is all about pirates, so that's one thing.
It also lets you explore a brightly coloured 3D island. Plus, it has a story-driven single player campaign that pits you against the Reeking Rogues. I guess they smell, like, really bad.
Otherwise, it's all tapping on enemies to attack, upgrading your pirates in RPG-like fashion, and occasionally ganging up with mates to steal treasure.
You can download Raids of Glory for free on the App Store. There are optional IAPs in case you want to buy more skulls (the in-game currency).
