Woah, did you know it's 2015 now?
While we should all have hoverboards by now, do you think you could settle for some free Vita games (providing your a PS Plus member)?

Yep, Sony has announced the PS Plus lineup for January, and it's not a bad one, either.

First up is the metaphysical puzzle platformer The Swapper.

We gave it a Bronze Award for its tricky puzzles, occasional creepiness, and mesmerising clay model set design. But we marked it down for its more frustrating moments.

The Swapper is also cross-buy so you can get it on PS4 and PS3 as well as on your Vita.

Alright, next up is Woah Dave!, which is a throwback to classic arcade games.

It's also a Silver Award-winner due to its compelling alien-squishing, coin collecting, high score-chasing platformer goodness.

It's worth noting that this is the work of Gaijin Games. You know, the creators of the Bit.Trip games? Yep, proven quality at arcade games right there.

Lastly (well, nearly) is Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition.

This is not just a new addition to PS Plus, but is a completely new Vita game, which is why we don't have a review of it yet.

But you know what this is: it's Duke Nukem 3D proper, with its three DLC packs bundled up together. You can thank Devolver Digital for publishing this one.

It'll be available to all non-PS Plus members in a couple of weeks, so keep your hair on.

Dirty Duke

Well, that's your lot for PS Plus on Vita in January. Unless you live in Germany, in which case you won't be getting Duke Nukem 3D as it's not allowed to be released in your country, sorry.

But, don't worry, you get Gravity Crash Ultra instead. It's a retro arcade shooter with lots of neon and explosions.

And it's an upgrade of the original 2009 game, with added pretty stuff, a decluttered interface, and a third ship for an increased challenge.
