Iceberg Tower is a reasonably interesting quick-fire arcade game that hit the App Store earlier this week. It's all about piling up blocks of ice as high as is humanly possible.

The tower is perfectly stable, but every time you lay a block, which slide from side-to-side before you tap to place them, any overhanging ice is cut away.

Lose too much ice and it's game over. It's sort of a reaction test dressed up in suitably wintry clothes. There are extra bits and bobs to unlock if you get high enough as well.

The game is free to download, and a one-off payment of 69p / 99c will get rid of the annoying interstitial ads that pop up after every go.
