Corto Maltese Secrets of Venice is a point-and-click adventure based on the famous graphic novel series. It’s just landed on the New Zealand App Store, which means it should be out at midnight tonight in the UK.
It tells an original story featuring characters from the comics, as well as some newcomers. There’s a mysterious compass and a gazette full of riddles, and you need to figuire out what’s going on.
If you’re a newcomer to puzzling, fret not. There are two levels of riddles, so you’re unlikkely to get stuck on your first time round.
You’ll be treated to animated cut scenes in the comic book’s style, and fully realised real world environments as well.
The game should land in the UK later tonight, and when it does it’ll set you back £2.99 / $4.99.
