Westeros is a dangerous place.

If you're looking to have your head chopped off, or your skull crushed, or your guts stabbed, or your mouth ruptured, or your eyes pulped, or your legs slashed, or your nose severed, or your torso cleaved, or your teeth cracked, or your spine knackered, George RR Martin's pseudo historical fantasy is where you need to be.

Game of Thrones the game has already seen a fair amount of bloodshed, but there's certain to be more. So we thought it would be fun to make our own game out of it.

It's a bit like fantasy football. We've assigned each of the surviving characters a number denoting their unscientifically determined likelihood of survival. The lower the number, the greater the odds (for instance, Cersei definitely lives, so she would be a 1.)

All you need to do is pick five characters from the list below. If you think they'll survive, choose 'Lives'. Otherwise choose 'No bet'.

- If they survive, you get the number of points they are worth.
- For each person they kill you get an additional point.
- If they die you lose three points.
- If you pick more than five survivors, you'll be disqualified.

Well update the table whenever a new chapter is released, and at the end we'll add up the points, pick an eventual winner, and send them some tat.
