Mobile roguelikers will be pleased with the news that bit Dungeon II should be heading to iOS and Android this month of December.

You may not be familiar with the first game but you'll sure as hell get to know this sequel if you're a fan of action roguelikes.

As with every game with a sword in it, bit Dungeon II is inspired by Zelda, Diablo, and Dark Souls. Take that information and do with it as you will.

More enticing is knowing that you play a spirit in an undead world of demons. You're here because your lover's grave has been desecrated and you want to put her soul to rest again.

You'll need to venture through randomly generated dungeons to get to the grave.

This means taking on challenging and huge bosses, as well as disgusting enemies, levelling up and using items as you go.

Of course, being a roguelike, permadeath means that if you die you have to start over again from scratch.

But that only gives you more time to explore the unique attacks of each weapon, including ranged and magic types.

And even when you do complete the game (if you ever do) then you can play it over and over as much as you like, becoming even more powerful.

One-man developer Kinto Games's plan is to get bit Dungeon II out on December 15th for PC on Steam.

Hopefully, bit Dungeon II will arrive on iOS and Android around this time. That's the plan, although there are no guarantees of this at the moment.
