Bean Dreams is the sequel to the Silver Award-winning platformer Bean's Quest, and it's just hit the App Store in New Zealand. That means it should be out at midnight tonight in the UK.

The game follows a similar pattern to the original. You're a constantly bouncing bean and need to get across bite-sized platforming levels in as quick a time, and with as few bounces, as possible.

This time there's a red chilli power-up that lets you burst forward in a spice-fuelled burst of speed. Which sounds like something you shouldn't try at home.

Bean Dreams will set you back £1.99 / $2.99 when it hits the App Store over here later today. If it can capture the bouncy, addictive nature of its predecessor, it'll probably be worth that.
