Drift Stage is a racer that harks back to a time when the ultimate goal of gaming was getting ridiculously powerful sportscars sideways for the longest time possible. And it could be heading to mobile.

As you can tell from the trailer above the game is all bright neon colours and '80s guitar solos, with glorious puffs of smoke and streamlined, boxy vehicles.

It's set to hit PC and Mac first, but there's a possibility it could be ending up on the App Store and Google Play Store after that.

We will, of course, keep you posted as and when we hear any more. In the meantime it could well be time to start growing that mullet you've always fancied but never had the game to back up.
