It's December! The year is on its last legs, it can feel the cold in its bones, and it's had a cough that it hasn't been able to shake since October! And all of that can only mean one thing.
That's right, it's time for the Pocket Gamer Advent Calendar. Every day between now and Christmas we're going to highlight a free game that you definitely should download.
It might be that the game's on sale, or it might be that it's free to download anyway. All of them come with a Pocket Gamer seal of approval though, and they'll all make your phone or tablet a little bit happier.
First up is Deep Loot from Monster and Monster. It's a free to play loot grabber that's available on both iOS and Android, and it sees you plumbing the depths of the sea to find secrets and, as you might expect, treasure.
At review we gave it a Silver Award and called it "a sweet, entertaining game that rewards repeat play and boasts buckets of charm. And fighty crabs."
If you can think of something more Christmas-y then fighty crabs then you're better at thinking about Christmas-y things than I am.
