Beautiful Vita-exclusive htoLNiQ: The Firefly Diary has been pushed back to February

Nippon Ichi Software's Vita-exclusive action puzzler htoLNiQ: The Firefly Diary was supposed to come to the west this autumn. But it's now been pushed back until February next year.

Two new trailers for the game were uploaded to the PSN Store recently that revealed the new release dates.

The first one uploaded to the UK store has a date of February 23rd 2015 for the game's release in the UK, and presumably Europe.

While the second trailer uploaded to the US store yesterday (watch it below) has a date of February 10th 2015 for the game's release over there.

htoLNiQ: The Firefly Diary was released in Japan this past summer. At least we know when to expect it over here now.

If you're not familiar with it, it's a beautiful 2D game in which you use a firefly to guide a young girl called Mion through the dark ruins of a desolate world in the year 9999.

In the World of Light, you use the touchscreen to guide the firefly, moving Mion and getting her to perform actions.

While in the World of Shadow, which is accessed using the rear touchpad, your firefly can remove objects from the scene.

You have to help Mion dodge and climb obstacles, solving puzzles, while also defeating enemies by using the environment.

You can find out more about the game on its website.
