Paint splashing exploration game The Unfinished Swan spreads its wings on Vita next week

Giant Sparrow's fairy tale exploration game The Unfinished Swan is coming to PlayStation Vita (and PS4) next week.

It'll arrive on the digital Vita store on October 28th in the US, and on October 29th in Europe for £9.99 / €12.99 / $14.99.

If you bought The Unfinished Swan on PS3 (which it was originally released on back in 2012) you'll be able to get the PS Vita and PS4 versions at no extra cost.

Likewise, being a cross-buy title, buying these new releases of the game gets you it on all PlayStation platforms.

The Unfinished Swan has you using your mother's silver paintbrush to reveal a magical kingdom, a paint splash at a time.

You start in a completely white space, and must throw blobs of paint around to make out the details of the environment so you can navigate it.

Eventually, you'll unveil more than just walls and floor, as a whole surreal city appears in flourishing colour. You'll also find out about the king that built this kingdom.

To say any more would be a huge spoiler, so you'll have to wait until next week when you can follow the swan on your Vita.
