Kickstart this: The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizza Boy is a point-and-click adventure based on a Dark Horse comic

The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizza Boy is a gorgeous looking point-and-click adventure that's based on a Portugese comic book.

Right now it's looking for funding via everyone's favourite crowd-cash-sourcing behemoth Kickstarter.

An iPad and Android tablet port is on the cards if developer Okam Studio manages to rake in $140,000. The campaign has been running for a few days and right now it's sitting at $5071, so there's a way to go yet.

The video below should give you an idea of what the game's all about. It looks to be a pretty traditional old school adventure, but with a few more interactive sections tossed in.

You can shoot stuff and punch people, which is always good.

The game stars Dog Mendonça, an overweight detective and werewolf, and Pizza Boy. His real name's Eurico and he's essentially Mendonça's unpaid intern.

Then there's Pazuul, who's a six thousand year old demon trapped in a small girl's body, and Gargoyle, who's a gargoyle.

It all looks and sounds pretty. If you want to throw some money at the game, you can follow this link to the Kickstarter page and do it there. Sounds like a good idea to us.
