Even monster houses like ice cream. But then, who doesn't?
Don't worry, I haven't lost the plot (yet), it's just that Firedroid has released Ice Cream Nomsters onto iOS and Android.
It's a free to play game, offering a challenging mix of puzzle and time management. Your job is to feed ice cream to, yep, hungry monsters that also happen to be houses.
To keep up with the demand for the chilly treats, you'll need to upgrade the speed and capacity of your ice cream van as you progress.
It's also a good idea to avoid driving down one-way lanes and towards dead ends, too. But that's common sense, so you won't do that, will you?
As you can see in the trailer above, Ice Cream Nomsters is a cute game, despite being full of starving monsters. Its simple controls match the friendly look, too - just tap to send your van to a location.
So, while the sun may not be shining this August, at least you can find a ray of sunshine in Ice Cream Nomsters. That's more than I expected from the British summer, at least.
