Free math puzzler Sumico launches on Android, iOS coming September
The numbers don't lie
It's easy to work out 2 + 2, but can you quickly combine 2 + 2 + 1 + 3 / 2 - 2 + 3 x 2 + 1? Can you do it against the clock?
Sumico is a mathematical puzzle game by Ludomotion, the developers behind Bezircle.
It is available for free on Android, with an iOS release planned for September.
While the arithmetic in Sumico starts simple, the game's puzzles are rooted in something much more engaging.
Players will combine groups of numbers to meet each level's goal, with larger formulas like the one depicted above earning more points.
Sometimes it's a race against the clock, other times it's just a matter of eliminating unnecessary numbers, while still making sure there are enough operators in the grid to calculate that target number.
Whatever your strategy, Sumico is completely free to play, and with fairly unintrusive ads. Get it now on Google Play.
There is a premium version available that gets rid of ads completely, which you can purchase in-game for £1.99 / $2.99
