While the video doesn't detail what to expect in terms of gameplay, it does give fans a glimpse of the usual chaos - and the desperate partnerships that form as a result - that they've come to love about The Walking Dead universe.
The Helsinki-based studio Next Games is behind development of the title, working closely with AMC to "portray the world they have created as closely as possible."
In this regard, The Walking Dead: No Man's Land will carry on the tradition of tough choices and survival for which the franchise is known.
"Our approach is to stay true to the main themes of the TV show: survival strategy, finding safety for your people, balancing between right and wrong and, of course, action when it comes to fighting against the hordes of walkers," said Next Games CEO, Teemu Huuhtanen.
Fans can expect to see The Walking Dead: No Man's Land launch for smartphones and tablets early next year, a release coinciding with The Walking Dead Season 5 premiere on AMC.
The debut trailer will also be on display at Comic Con International, July 24-27 at The Walking Dead booth #4237.
