David O'Reilly's Mountain is now ready to fascinate you for just 69p / 99c on iOS
You are god
"You are mountain - you are god."
Yep, David O'Reilly has released his "art horror" simulator game Mountain on iOS today.
It purportedly has up to 50 hours of gameplay and that involves observing your own bespoke mountain. Think of it like a Tamagotchi without having to pick up all the poop.
It starts by asking you questions that you answer by drawing pictures. The questions are just a word-long and pertain to certain emotions and ideas, such as "love" and "art".
Once you've submitted your drawings, your unique mountain is then generated. From there, you simply enjoy the beauty of nature living and dying across your piece of rock hovering in the sky.
O'Reilly claims there are no controls in Mountain but that's not strictly true. There'll be no spoilers here, though - you'll have to discover that much for yourselves.
Put it this way, you'll be surprised a few times while 'playing' Mountain.
At just 69p / 99c on the App Store, Mountain is probably worth a look if you're curious of what this slice of wonderment is all about.
