Metamorphabet embodies everything I love about its creator Vectorpark. It's quirky, amusing, and kind of magical.

Vectorpark unveiled Metamorphabet last week alongside Mountain as part of the Horizon conference. It's an animated alphabet that brings each of the 26 letters to life as you prod and pull them.

The focus on the alphabet here may give you the idea that the game is intended for a younger audience. But it's not. There's universal joy and wonder to be found here. I'm certainly taken in by it.

The trailer below captures the idea of the game best, so give it a watch.

As you can see, the letters transform into representations of the 'example' words that are appearing on screen.

With 'A', the letter grows antlers, then becomes an arch, then ambles towards us. Plenty more delightful surprises await you.

Metamorphabet will be available on iPad and PC later this year. You can check out its website for further updates.
