Original story follows...
Square Enix Montreal has announced Hitman: Sniper for mobiles and tablets, which will be further revealed at E3.
Hitman: Sniper comes from the same team behind the Silver Award-winning Hitman GO.
It's to be a competitive sniping game that requires wits and precision. If you've ever played Hitman: Sniper Challenge (available to pre-orders of Hitman: Absolution) for PC or console, then you'll have an idea what to expect.
You'll be positioned on rooftops and other vantage points in each scenario, tasked with taking out targets with a well-placed shot, and completing other assignments.
Patience, focus, and and quick reactions are required. Each level is designed to be replayable so you can find new approaches and score better on the leaderboards.
You'll earn upgrades for your sniper rifles as you progress. However, as the game is free-to-play, you'll also be able to purchase some upgrades and contracts early, if you choose.
Hitman: Sniper will be coming to mobiles and tablets later this year.CVG
