Plantman isn't your typical sci-fi superhero.

But in a near-apocalyptic future world without any sunlight or naturally occurring oxygen, a man with a green thumb is, well, quite the saviour.

Said superhero's real name is Andy Sprout. And, yep, he's the plant manager at Greensworth Gardens (Earth's biggest supplier of oxygen).

As the on-site plant manager, Andy does daily battle with plant-eating bugs. That's his life.

However, one day, he discovers that he can grow plants from his hand. When this happens, the game kicks off. As you'd expect.

So, you'll be swiping and tapping here to defeat giant bugs with shoots and leaves. You'll also be solving puzzles, and even sneaking past security systems and guards.

Plantman seems to be a nifty little game made by the students at The Danish Film School, then.

It'll be free to download from the UK and US App Stores at midnight tonight.
