Rival Knights is a free-to-play jousting game from Gameloft. It's just hit the App Store in New Zealand, and should be trotting its way to the UK at midnight tonight.
You control your mounted knight with a series of taps. Tap at the right time to get a boost when you set off, tap as a pointer swings into the green section of a bar to speed up your horse, then drag your lance to a sweet spot to score a hit.
It's fast and pretty furious, and unseating your opponent results in some impressive lance-splintering, back-flipping falls.
The game looks gorgeous, and there's a good chunk of opponents to twonk in the face or body with a long pole.
