Another day, another Kemco JRPG on the Google Play Store. This one's called Fanatic Earth and it's a bit more futuristic than the publisher's usual output.

The game tells the story of Zech, an inhabitant of Xilleon City - a domed megalopolis built to protect the human race from an evil alien bacteria.

Zech gets in a fight and ends up hounded by the probably evil Cyphatek company. Cue mystery, conspiracy, random battles, floppy hair, and assorted other JRPG tropes.

There's character customisation, combo chains that help you in scraps, and three different difficulty settings if you're finding the battles too tough or too simple.

And it's all presented in Kemco's usual 16-bit 2D style. But a bit futuristic-y.

Fanatic Earth is out right now on the Google Play Store where it'll set you back £3.99 / $3.99. That's a launch price, and pretty soon the game will cost £7.99 / $7.99. So act fast. If you want to.
