Razer USA is a name that many serious PC gamers recognize as being one of the industry leaders in high-performance gaming keyboards and mice.

Now, however, Razer's poised to slice its way into the mobile market with its new Junglecat iOS controller.

Built for the iPhone 5/5s, the Junglecat is a fully supported iOS 7 gamepad that offers a precision D-pad, a suite of four ABXY buttons, and bumpers - basically, everything you'd want to remove virtual buttons from your iPhone gaming experience

Also, you can slide the controller part under your phone when it's not in use - which is a handy way to pretend that you've got an Xperia Play in your pocket.

Right, now down to the nitty gritty.

The Junglecat is an MFi product, which means it's enabled for all the neat features Apple announced at WWDC. Game Forwarding, for example, allows the Junglecat and iPhone 5/5s to be act as a wireless controller for larger-screen Apple Products.

On the form factor, Razer notes that the Junglecat will feel like "a standard protective case" since it's only 20 mm thin.

The Junglecat also comes with a downloadable iOS app that allows users to remap and define its button functions as well as adjust pressure sensitivity based on their preferences.

The app also allows players to store up to 20 profiles for separate games, so there's a lot of customization possible here.

The Razer Junglecat is available for pre-order now at $99.99 / £79.99 - and yes, it comes in white or black to match your iPhone.
