You can tell from the sudden slosh of football and football related games washing over the App Store that it's a World Cup year, and now Cartoon Network is getting in on the ball-based action.
CN Superstar Soccer is a foot-to-ball game starring characters from a bunch of Cartoon Network shows. It's five-a-side, goalposts for goalposts, 3D soccer action. But with cartoons.
It's just hit the App Store in New Zealand, which should mean that it'll be out in the UK at midnight tonight, unless it's a crazy soft launch.
Apparently the game involves characters from Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, and Ben 10: Omniverse. I haven't seen any of them, as I only watch documentaries about glum faced people from the past.
There's online multiplayer, so you can play with people all over the world, and the more you win the further your nation crawls up the global leaderboards.
If that wasn't enough there's single player modes, touch screen controls, exclusive iOS characters, and lots of shiny, glowy, crazy ball-kicking action too.
CN Superstar Soccer will set you back £1.99 /$2.99 when it smashes into the top corner of the App Store later on today.
