Updated on 29th May at 09:15: iON Bond is now out on the Google Play Store as well, so gamers of a Google persuasion can make some molecular connections.

The Android version costs 69p / 99c [buy] and features all the same content as the iOS version. So go get it if you want.

Original story follows...

iON Bond is a clever puzzle game that's all about connections. It's just hit the App Store in New Zealand, which means it should be popping up over in the UK at midnight tonight.

The aim of the game is popping particles by colliding them together. The different charges on the particles can repel or attract, and you need to match colour to colour and collect neutrinos as well.

It's a good looking puzzler, and the streamers that burst out when you make a connection look especially great.

There's a hefty chunk of levels to get your teeth and your grey matter into, and a reasonable level of challenge if you want perfect scores throughout.

The game should hit App Stores around the world later today and when it does it'll set you back 69p / 99c. We reckon it's well worth that.
