SingStar
The next version of crooning karaoke game SingStar won't require those bulky plastic microphones. Instead, a free iOS and Android app will let you belt out 'Call Me Maybe' right into your smartphone.

The app will hook up to the PS3 and PS4 versions of SingStar, and will record your off-key ballad so the console can judge your vocal talents like a tiny robotic Simon Cowell.

The app will also let you create your own personal playlists from songs you've downloaded off the store.

"But what about PS Vita?" I hear you ask.

In a comment on the US PlayStation Blog, Sony associate producer Jenny Barbour said: "No plans to support Vita yet, but we are always looking to do new stuff on SingStar! So maybe in the future..."
