Disgraced roguelike sequel Dungelot 2 has returned to the App Store. And it's sporting balance tweaks, bug fixes, and some brand-new features.

Back in February, Red Winter Software removed the game from the App Store just days after its debut. The studio admitted that the initial release was plagued by "tons of bugs" and that the in-app purchases were "a fail both for players and us".

This new version is less complicated for new players (the enemy attack countdown timer has been yanked, for example). Plus, the game now comes with a tutorial, in-game help, and a clearer user interface.

Red Winter Software has also overhauled the economy so that you can no longer buy items before a run, shops are now found inside the dungeons, and you can't stockpile items (as unused equipment disappears when you perish).

Heroes now have fewer attributes but new buffs and flaws. Furthermore, skills have been completely changed. Oh, and you can now get a pet dragon. So, there's that.

If you want to find out more, the developer talked about most of the new features on the Touch Arcade forum back in April.

Dungelot 2 is now available, once again, on iOS for free. An Android version is in the works - you can sign up for a beta on Red Winter's Facebook Page here.
