JoyJoy is the sort of shooter that sucks you in until you're cross-eyed, confused, and grinning from the midst of an arcade stupor.

The game has just landed in New Zealand, which means it'll be streaking its way onto the UK App Store from midnight tonight.

It's a twin-stick shooter with a smooth-edged art style that's packed full of challenges, levels, and boss fights.

There's a massive arsenal of upgradeable weapons, and a huge spread of difficulty settings so pretty much anyone can have a go at creating some pastel-hued carnage.
