Idea Factory's Vita card battler Monster Monpiece will be out by the end of May

Censored, but still on the way

Idea Factory's Vita card battler Monster Monpiece will be out by the end of May

Idea Factory has announced that its Card battler Monster Monpiece will come to the PlayStation Network in North America on May 28 before it makes its way to Europe a day later.

Monster Monpiece, you might remember, is the card battler that's famous for blending CCG gameplay with some light RPG elements, a charming story, and sexy monster girl illustrations.

The western version won't be as sexy as the original Japanese release, however, as some of the more provocative card art was censored as part of what Idea Factory called a very difficult decision.

Monster Monpiece takes a unique approach to the card battler genre and puts players in control of a young girl who's seeking to become the ultimate Monster Girl trainer alongside her friends.

When one member of the group turns rogue, it's up to players to quest after them and save the world.

With over 100 Monster Girl cards to collect, fuse, and level, Monster Monpiece also offers players a rich amount of strategy to dive into.

If this sounds like something you'd like on your Vita, you can download Monster Monpiece for $29.99 / ~ £20.99 in a couple of weeks.

And if you need any more convincing, you can check out Monster Monpiece's "First Crush RubLevel" mode in action.

This in-game mechanic is something you'll use to level up your cards by sending your magical power into the touchscreen. Don't read too much into it.
