Atlus announces Silver Award-winning Conception II's European release dates

| Conception II

Conception II's been out in the US for almost a month now, and Atlus is keeping its promise to bring the Silver Award-winner to Europe in Mid-May.

Thanks to an update from the publisher, we now know that Conception II will arrive on 14 May for the PS Vita, while the 3DS version will be in labour a bit longer and won't come out until the next day.

Both versions will be download-only, so be sure to check for them on the PSN or eShop.

In case you're just coming up to speed, Conception II is the JRPG were you make friends with seven beautiful (and heavily armed) classmates and make Star Children with them. These Star Children, in turn, come with you in battle and help you fight off the evils of the world.

In our review of Conception II, we called it "an unabashed celebration of modern otaku culture" and a "highly customisable turn-based JRPG" while we praised its great visuals, deep relationship / social link system, and clever positioning-based combat mechanic. It has a fair amount of fan service at times, however, and the wave of sexual innuendos might turn off some players - but those who don't mind a bit of tongue-in-cheek fun will find a lot of randomly-generated dungeons and fun in this offbeat RPG.
