Mice want cheese. You want good games to play. Hopefully, MouseCraft will deliver a solution to both of those desires when it arrives on Vita in July.

That's right. Crunching Koalas just announced that MouseCraft will arrive on Vita (and PC, PS4, and PS3) in the US on July 8th, and in Europe on July 9th.

You'll no doubt be glad to hear that MouseCraft will be cross-buy and will feature cross-saves across all PlayStation platforms.

If you don't recall, MouseCraft is a pleasant mix of Tetris and Lemmings in which you help lab mice to get the cheese they crave.

You do this by placing tetromino blocks, avoiding enemies, and using other objects so your rodent pals can traverse the multi-tiered levels.

There are different types of blocks that you'll have to use, such as the jelly blocks that allow for safe landings after a long drop.

While you're solving these problems, the crazy cat scientist called Schrödinger watches from the background. The story of the game revolves around his creation of a mice-powered machine.

We're told that there's between 6-10 hours of gameplay across the 80 levels on offer. However, MouseCraft comes with a level editor so you can create more for yourself, or try out those that other players have made.

There's more information available on MouseCraft's official website.
