Plax is a multi-touch game of triangle avoiding that's just hit the New Zealand App Store. After consulting the stellar calendar, I can confidently predict that that means it'll be hitting the UK at midnight tonight.

The aim of the game is to weave around a blob, collecting smaller blobs, staying out of the way of angry triangles, and smashing up cloned versions of yourself. If you've got more small blobs than they do.

You control two circles, either with one finger as a pair, or independently with two fingers. It's a bit like rubbing your head and patting your stomach, but with more triangles and colour changes.

Plax fits neatly into the head-ache inducing twitch genre, and when it arrives in the UK later today it'll set you back 69p / 99c.
