Grinsia from ear to ear
Kemco's Silver Award-winning trad JRPG Grinsia is being ported to the 3DS by Nicalis, and should hit the eShop on May 8th in North America according to a tweet from the publisher.
The 3DS version follows on from the announcement last week that another of Kemco's enormous catalogue of JRPGs, End of Aspiration, is heading to the PSP as End of Serenity.
When we reviewed Grinsia on Android more than two years ago we said "the sparse 2D visuals make it a hard game to sell to modern gamers, but beneath the clunky visual exterior you’ll find an RPG which manages to replicate the old skool charm of the 16-bit era."
This new version will feature dual screen play, a different soundtrack, and enhanced controls. We're guessing the controls are enhanced because the 3DS has buttons.
We don't know how much the game will cost when it comes out, or whether it's going to be a North American release only, but we'll keep you posted as and when we learn more.
