Unpossible is, according to esteemed custodian of the English language Urban Dictionary, "even more impossible than impossible."

So, one might think that developer Acceleroto is trying to say that first-person dodge 'em up Unpossible is really, really hard. But I've played it, and it's not so tough.

You move left or right around a weaving and winding tube with tilt or tap controls. You dodge rings, wings, and other large objects jutting out of the central pipe. And that's it.

It worked for Super Hexagon, and it works for Unpossible, too. But Unpossible is nowhere near as hard and fast as Super Hexagon.

It might not be impossibly impossible, but it sure is pretty to look at. Greys and electric blues highlight the features of the procedural levels, while a full moon and a cityscape can be seen in the distance.

Unpossible is fun for a little while but it lacks longer-lasting challenge and variety. Even three tiers of daily challenges with global leaderboards don't entice me back.

It'll be coming to iOS on April 17th (this Thursday) and will cost £1.49 / $1.99.
