Here's some good news if you like Swedish digital card games made by the people behind Minecraft. Mojang's Scrolls is definitely coming to tablets at some point in the future.

That might sound a bit vague, but then so does the official announcement, which was part of a post of the Scrolls website about upcoming tweaks to the PC version.

"An iPad/tablet version of Scrolls is in the works! We’ve enlisted the aid of Ludosity to port Scrolls into flatter, more touchy devices. We’ll have more news on this soon."

See, vague.

If you're unfamiliar with the work of Ludosity, it's the dev behind Silver Award-winning smooth-edged retro adventure Ittle Dew. There weren't many cards in that though.

We will, of course, keep you posted as and when we hear anything more concrete about the tablet version of Scrolls. Promise.
