Platinum Award winner SteamWorld Dig will surface on the US PSN today and the EU PSN tomorrow

It's not often we give out a Platinum Award here at Pocket Gamer, but the 3DS version of SteamWorld Dig received one when we reviewed it in the middle of last year.

It's the sort of game that should sell systems. It's that good.

So, it's a good day to own a PS Vita, for SteamWorld Dig should be available on the US PSN Store later today and on the EU PSN Store sometime tomorrow.

The game will set you back $9.99 / €8.99, by the way, though there's a 20 percent discount for PlayStation Plus members. It's a Cross-Buy game, too, so nabbing it for the Vita means you also get the game for PS4.

We called the 3DS version "an utterly phenomenal video game, with layer upon layer of remarkable gameplay to be found".

So, best to keep your eyes on the PSN Store today and tomorrow. You'll thank us in the morning.
