Rovio has just soft-launched surprise Angry Birds-based iOS RPG Angry Birds Epic in Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.
The game stars characters from Rovio's horrendously successful avian-tossing franchise. This time, though, Rovio drops them into a fantasy setting that sees you whomping pigs with swords, spells, and other RPG accoutrements.
There's the usual menagerie of RPG upgrades and new characters to unlock here. And there are plenty of turn-based battles for you to bash and smash your way through. You can even explore an entire piggy island. If you want.
