Cheeky haphazard shooter Glorkian Warrior: Trials of Glork will go live on the App Store this Thursday, delivering a funny arcade experience that it's pretty hard not to like.
The game is a gorgeous hand-drawn riff on the old Space Invaders template that sees you jogging around on an asteroid with only a talking backpack for company, shooting waves of squidgy invaders before they kill you.
You've got to squish ground-based assailants; collect boosts and credits dropped by the attackers; and generally stay alive for as long as possible.
The game will surface on iPad and iPhone this Thursday. And if you like shooting, jokes, and games that don't look like anything else, it'll be well worth your time.
