Xseed Games bares all and announces North American release of Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed for PS Vita

After a clever tease, Xseed Games has announced that it'll bring the strip-search brawler Akiba's Trip 2 to the North America this summer as Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed.

Although the title's changed slightly in localisation, Undead & Undressed will be a faithful port of Akiba's Trip 2.

This means players will have the chance to explore Tokyo's famous otaku district, Akihabara, and protect its denizens from demonic vampires known as Synthisters.

Take that, Dracula!

Thankfully for the player, Synthisters have a key weakness - sunlight.

And in a baffling leap of logic, the only way you can defeat them is to tear their clothing off and let the shunshine do the rest.

Handfuls of fan service aside, there's a lot of other reasons to be excited for Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed.

For starters, it features an amazingly detailed virtual version of Akihabara for players to explore.

This version of Tokyo's famous 'Electric Town' offers painstakingly rendered in-game representations of real-world stores. In these stores, players can grab all manner of improvised weaponry - from motherboards to baseball bats - which they'll employ in their fight against the Synthisters.

If you're up for helping The Akiba Freedom Fighters in their quest to strip vampires and send them to the hereafter, you can pick up Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed for the PS Vita or PS3 this summer.

We'll keep you updated with news of a firm release date as soon as we have it.
