The PG Readers' iOS and Android Game of the Month - your vote needed
|

Every month, thousands of new games hit the iOS App Store and Google Play on Android. Trying to find the diamonds in the rough is no easy task, let us assure you.

We like to think we do a pretty good job with our news articles, end-of-week round-ups, expert reviews, and comprehensive features, mind.

But, now we want to know what YOU think.

Today, we're going to ask you to pick the best game that was released on iOS and Android from the past month (from the nominations below). We'll then announce the winner in a glamorous article next Monday.

To vote, either leave a comment at the bottom of this article or create a Flappy Bird clone that forces us to tap our way through giant letters that spell out your selection.

The nominations
Calculords (iPad, iPhone) "Calculords is a fresh and interesting mix of ideas that all come together to create an exciting strategy game that's not quite like anything you've played before"
Autumn Dynasty Warlords (iPad, iPhone) "A deep 4X RTS that's always giving you more to do, Autumn Dynasty Warlords is a fine addition to the series."
Eliss Infinity (iPad, iPhone) "A hard-edged puzzler that offers no wriggle room. The extra content here makes Eliss Infinity a worthwhile purchase for fans of the original and newcomers alike."
Rocket Robo (iPad, iPhone, Android) "Rocket Robo is a charming and attractive casual puzzler in which its maker fleshes out its basic concept with solid controls and varied level design."
Coldfire Keep (iPad, iPhone) "You have to play Coldfire Keep on its own terms, but if you accept that then you'll find a challenging but rewarding RPG."
Arc War (iPad, iPhone, Android) "Arc War takes the ageing shooter concept and gives it an endless twist that mostly works wonders."
Super Obstacle Boy (iPad, iPhone) "It might be a bumpy ride in some places, but Super Obstacle Boy offers enough of a platforming challenge that it's difficult not to get swept away by it."
Stubies (iPad, iPhone) "A fresh take on the match-some puzzler genre, Stubies is well worth a look."
Second Chance Heroes (iPad, iPhone) "Despite a hiccup here and there, Second Chance Heroes is full of gut-splattering historical hysteria."
Line of Defense Tactics (iPad, iPhone, Android) "A well-honed squad-based RTS that crams an appreciable amount of tactical possibilities into a relatively streamlined interface"
Card City Nights (iPad, iPhone, Android) "Fun, funny, and fundamentally unputdownable, Card City Nights is a fantastic mix of casual strategy and collectible card coolness."
Out There (iPad, iPhone, Android) "A vast, lonely game about space and time and death, Out There is by turns funny, exciting, and fresh."
Threes! (iPad, iPhone) "Despite some frustrating chaotic elements, Threes! is a dashing, intelligent, and deceptively simple treat. This is your next essential puzzler."
Only One (iPad, iPhone, Android) "A brilliantly paced, sharp-edged brawler that isn't afraid of a bit of silliness. Only One is well worth a play."
