Teslagrad is a gorgeous indie puzzling-platformer from Rain Games that will be heading to Vita in the not-too-distant future.

In it, you use magnetism and electromagnetism to work your way up a mysterious tower.

The handheld version of Teslagrad was confirmed over on the EU PlayStation Blog. The reason for the port? Peer pressure.

After Rain revealed that the game was heading to PS3, one of the most common comments was from people asking whether a PS Vita port was in the works.

"You asked for it, you have it. Today we're officially announcing the development of a PlayStation Vita version of Teslagrad, which will join the PlayStation 3 version within the PlayStation universe. We are still working out a lot of details, sure, but the release is getting closer and closer."

The game was well received on PC. And you can read all about the porting process, and why it's working so well, in the aforementioned EU PlayStation Blog post.

We'll let you know when we hear anything about a release date for Teslagrad. Colour us excited, though.
