Cubed Snowboarding is a cruel, angry game.

Except when you get it right. Then, it's a joyous fast-paced lane dodger that lets you do backflips.

Whatever it is, it's just gone live on the New Zealand App Store, which means it'll be out in the UK and US at midnight tonight.

It's all about leading a weird-looking boarder through a twisty, tricky track. You can't turn corners, though. Well, you can't if you don't grab the corner-taking power-up that sits on each bend, that is.

By tapping on the screen, you move to one of three different lanes on the track. You need to make sure you're on the right one when a corner pops up, otherwise you'll plummet to your death.

There are obstacles to weave around, ramps to pull tricks off, and plenty of fast-paced arcade-style dodging as you blast down a stylised hill trying to reach a cheery chequered flag surrounded by happy people.

Cubed Snowboarding should surface on the UK and US App Stores at the witching hour, and will cost you 69p / 99c. It'll probably make you swear quite a lot, mind, so you have been warned.
