Every level in Playmous's imminent God of Light begins in pitch-black darkness. It's up to you, and your handy searchlight Shiny, to cut through the dark and seek out the sources of light.

That often means bouncing your beam of light off static and movable mirrors. Or feeding it through prisms, collectors, filters, and portals. Playmous introduces new mechanics as you work through all 75 levels.

God of Light also has a soundtrack by UK trip hop group U.N.K.L.E., and in-app purchases for hints.

God of Light will be available from the UK and US App Stores tonight at midnight, and will cost £1.49 / $1.99. Check it out it in the video above, or wait for our review of it. Or do neither. I don't care.
