Dual Survivor is all about guiding two energy cores down separate mazes while trying not to scream
And it's out now for iPhone
Dual Survivor is the sort of game you play with tears in your eyes while grinding your teeth to dust.
It starts off pretty easily, with the two sets of walkways mirroring each other. Soon, however, they're taking completely different paths, and the two halves of your brain are screaming at each other as you try and keep control of the energy cores.
This is precisely the sort of gaming that iPhone devs do so well. The levels don't last very long, but there's a distilled shot of sharp-edged play here that sticks in the mind and won't let you stop until you've either reached the end or snapped your phone.
You need to grab gems, too, which is easier said than done when you're trying to make sure two different things don't fall into space, dooming the human race in the process.
There's a star rating system here and plenty of levels for you to work your way through. Plus, there are mines, turrets, and other obstacles for you to try and avoid. Twice. At different times.
If that's not enough for you, then you can show off to your friends about how much better you are at using two thumbs via the magic of online leaderboards.
Dual Survivor is out on the App Store right now, and will set you back £1.99 / $2.99. Just don't blame us if you end up throwing your iPhone out of a window in a fit of rage.
