Lost Yeti dev removes the lone IAP from its Silver Award-winning puzzler

Neutronized Games has updated its Silver Award-winning block-pushing Abominable Snowman puzzler Lost Yeti.
Instead of adding new content to the game, though, the Italian studio has decided to take something out.
Namely, the game's solitary IAP. In effect, you can no longer purchase an extra 50 level-skipping popsicles for 69p / 99c.
Talking on Twitter, Neutronized explained why it had taken the IAP down. And it's mainly because people didn't trust a game that cost 69p / 99c and included an in-app purchase.
Only seven people had actually spent money on the extra popsicles. And while Neutronized described it as "a very light IAP", there was talk on forums that people didn't like the idea of paying for a game with any sort of IAP included.
It's interesting to see developers removing in-app purchases that aren't working for them. And Neutronized has also stated that its next game, which is currently in development, will be a premium experience.
Even with that lone IAP inside it, we really liked Lost Yeti. We called it "a rich and rewarding puzzler full of neat ideas".
So, if the inclusion of additional stuff to buy was putting you off, then you should wander over to the App Store and get the game right now.
